TriboDyn® Tri-Guard™ 4046 Rotary Screw Synthetic Compressor Oil is based on a very thermally and oxidatively stable synthetic base oil designed for use in a wide variety of rotary screw air compressors. Is specially formulated with advanced proprietary Tri-Guard™ PAO additive technology that offers an exceptional level of protection against heat, wear, rust, and corrosion, as well as outstanding resistance against oxidation and thermal breakdown. Under normal operating conditions you can expect extended drain cycles and experience up to 8,000 – 10,000 hours of use, reduces energy consumption, is non-toxic/non-hazardous, and has a high flash point. TriboDyn® Tri-Guard™ 4046 Rotary Screw Synthetic Compressor Oil is designed to control foam for improved film strength, excellent resistance to varnish under high temperature applications and minimize impact from airborne contaminants. TriboDyn® Tri-Guard™ 4046 Rotary Screw Synthetic Compressor Oil is used where maximum seal, paint, plastic, and rubber compatibility is required and when an excellent resistance to corrosion is needed. It provides outstanding service — even in the most severe operating conditions, extends equipment life and helps improve facility uptime.
Applications: TriboDyn® Tri-Guard™ 4046 Rotary Screw Synthetic Compressor Oil is designed for rotary screw air compressors that require an ISO 46 non-detergent compressor oil. Oil life is dependent on operating conditions and maintenance practices – a regular oil analysis program is recommended. NOT RECOMMENDED for breathing air or refrigeration compressors. NOT COMPATIBLE WITH silicones or polyglycol (PAG) fluids. TriboDyn® Tri-Guard™ 4046 Rotary Screw Synthetic Compressor Oil is compatible with most synthetic and/or conventional compressor oils.
Directions for use: Follow the compressors manufacturer’s ISO or SAE weight recommendations and all other OEM specifications. It meets or exceeds the warranty requirements for almost every major manufacturer makes and models of rotary screw air compressors.
WARNING: This product contains crude oil, and other petroleum products that may include chemicals, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer & birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov. Avoid direct exposure. May cause skin or eye irritation. Ingestion may cause GI tract irritations or stomach discomfort. Inhalation of oil mists or heated oils may result in respiratory tract irritation. Slip hazard when spilled.
FIRST AID: EYES – Flush with water for 15 minutes; get medical attention if eye irritation persists.
SKIN – Wash with soap and water get medical attention if irritation develops.
INGESTION – If swallowed, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING – Rinse mouth with water; get immediate medical attention.
INHALATION – Remove exposed person to fresh air if adverse effects are observed; get medical attention if symptoms occur.
